We recommend that you verify their latest timetable, which is accessible through their official mobile app, and plan accordingly.

With an average duration of 20 minutes, the Disney Illuminations is the perfect way to end your day at Disneyland Paris.

Grab a sweet treat or a warm drink, and find a comfortable spot to enjoy the dazzling light show.

Where do you get the best view?

Every night, the fireworks show takes place above the Castle. Thus, it is best to be as close to the Castle as possible.

Some people may prefer being farther away from the sound equipment and illumination. If this describes you, look for a spot between the Castle and the end of Main Street.

On a somewhat busy day, we recommend you schedule your arrival at least 30 minutes before the show to secure your viewing spot.

If you want to be near the Sleeping Beauty Castle, arrive an hour earlier.

The Disneyland Paris fireworks location, often known as ‘the hub,’ distorts you and the show while providing an excellent view.

There are several other best places to see the fireworks at Paris Disneyland along the main thoroughfare, including:

Main Street, U.S.A.

  • Pros: This iconic street offers a central location with a clear view of the Sleeping Beauty Castle, the heart of the fireworks display. Being right in the heart of the park’s atmosphere, you will feel the excitement and energy of the crowd as the show unfolds.
  • Cons: This prime location can get crowded, especially during peak seasons. Securing a good spot requires arriving early.

Once Upon a Time Castle Terrace:

  • Pros: This elevated area offers a breathtaking panorama. Enjoy a delicious meal with a spectacular fireworks display as your grand finale. Choose from Plaza Gardens Restaurant, Auberge de Cendrillon, or Restaurant Hakuna Matata.
  • Cons: Reservations are highly recommended, especially during peak season.

Disneyland Paris Hotels:

  • Pros: Convenient and offers spectacular views from your room or balcony, depending on location. Enjoy the display from the comfort of your hotel without leaving the park.
  • Cons: Requires booking a hotel stay, potentially at a higher cost. The view might be partially obstructed, depending on your room location.

Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge:

  • Pros: It provides a fantastic view and a stunning vantage point overlooking the iconic Millennium Falcon.
  • Cons: It is not an official viewing area, so there will be no music or other Disney Illuminations effects.

Rivers of the World:

  • Pros:  You can take a relaxing boat ride through lush landscapes while enjoying the fireworks display from a unique perspective.
  • Cons: It doesn’t provide a direct view of the castle, so you will miss some pyro effects and projections.
